We’re currently recruiting a dedicated Retail Supervisor to help ensure the smooth running of the operations in Defence on a part‑time basis, contracted to 20 hours per week.

Shift pattern: 5 out of 7 days, contracted to 20 hours per week and 50.2 weeks per year.
Responsibilities
- Ensuring all deliveries are checked and stored promptly and correctly
- Supervising a team and creating a positive environment where the team feels welcomed and supported
- Acting as a responsible key holder
- Using the till, taking orders and receiving payments
- Assisting with weekly bookkeeping and any other necessary duties
- Producing weekly rotas following the manager’s guidelines
- Placing orders for stock to maintain correct stock levels
- Delegating where necessary and ensuring the team are proactive at all times
- Complying with Food Handling & Hygiene standards
- Complying with Health & Safety regulations
Qualifications
- Previous experience supervising frontline teams within a similar environment
- Good communication skills with a focus on great Customer Service
- Team player and can‑do attitude
- Ability to work under pressure whilst maintaining a positive attitude
