We’re on the lookout for a passionate, empathetic, and dynamic Counselling Teacher to join our Health & Social Care team. If you love helping people grow, thrive on meaningful conversations, and can make theory come alive in the classroom, this could be your perfect role.
What you’ll be doing
- No two days are the same, but here’s a flavour of what’s in store:
- Deliver engaging and thought-provoking counselling lessons
- Design creative lesson plans that bring learning to life
- Use digital tools and innovative methods to inspire students
- Track progress, assess work, and celebrate achievements
- Support learners both academically and personally
- Help students build confidence, skills, and career pathways
- Get involved in open days, events, and community activities
- You’ll also play a key role in shaping high-quality counselling programmes aligned to CPCAB standards and continuously improving the student experience.
Qualifications
- A degree (or equivalent) in a relevant subject
- Teaching qualification (or willing to work towards one)
- Experience delivering engaging learning sessions
- A passion for student development and wellbeing
- Confidence using digital tools in teaching
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
