Overview
Full-time Counter Manager position to make real connections in Boots Sedley Place and achieve sales targets while creating exceptional customer experiences.
Responsibilities
- Sales Management: Lead and motivate Brow and Beauty Experts to hit and exceed sales goals, ensuring high service standards.
- Brow Services & Revenue Generation: Provide waxing, tinting, and tweezing services to ensure exceptional customer satisfaction and recurrent appointments.
- Target-Driven Sales: Personally connect with customers, demonstrate products passionately, and consistently achieve individual sales targets and support overall counter goals.
- Teamwork and Motivation: Conduct engaging daily team meetings, promote open communication, and recognize achievements to keep the team focused.
- Business Growth: Develop innovative in-store and external events through strategic linkups, collaborations, product launches, and impactful charity initiatives to boost sales and brand awareness.
- Stock Optimisation: Ensure the counter is always fully stocked, monitor inventory levels, and report concerns to the Area Manager.
- Communication Leadership: Act as key communicator between store/department managers and area managers, ensuring smooth information flow.
- Efficient Administration: Oversee daily, weekly, monthly, and annual administrative tasks supporting the Area Manager.
- Staff Scheduling Excellence: Create fair and effective monthly staff rotas that optimise coverage and support sales goals.
- Brand Presentation: Maintain hygiene and housekeeping standards for the counter and displays to ensure a professional shopping environment.
Qualifications
- Dynamic, enthusiastic, and sales-driven.
- Passion for make-up and retail with a focus on achieving sales targets.
- Result-oriented and enjoys a challenge and exceeding sales expectations.
- Desire to provide a unique customer experience that drives loyalty and repeat business.
- Flexible availability including weekends, late nights, bank holidays, and holiday periods.
- A minimum of 2-4 years of prior customer service experience in retail or hospitality, with a passion for sales success.
- Minimum 6 months of management experience.
