Overview

The company is a manufacturer in Alcester producing high‑precision fabricated and machined metal components for the aerospace, defence, and power generation industries.

Role

They are recruiting an NDT Technician for their operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform inspection operations (DPI & Visual) in accordance with procedures
• Ensure NDT equipment is maintained and suitable for the operation
• Conduct control checks and tests in accordance with procedures
• Interpret and evaluate test results against defined acceptance standards
• Generate work instructions
• Manage workflow to meet production requirements
• Prepare and authorise product test reports
• Conduct tests and inspections to ensure products conform to customer specifications and definitions
• Ensure parts are processed in accordance with business work priorities in a timely manner

Required Skills & Experience

• Previous working experience in an NDT technical capacity
• Ability to read and interpret engineering and product drawings
• Familiarity with quality and manufacturing standards and ability to achieve specified targets and objectives in line with business requirements
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail
• Strong team player

Schedule

The role is Lates – Monday to Wednesday 4.30 pm to 2.30 am – Thursday 4.30 pm to 1.30 pm.
