The company is a manufacturer in Alcester producing high‑precision fabricated and machined metal components for the aerospace, defence, and power generation industries.
Role
They are recruiting an NDT Technician for their operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform inspection operations (DPI & Visual) in accordance with procedures
- Ensure NDT equipment is maintained and suitable for the operation
- Conduct control checks and tests in accordance with procedures
- Interpret and evaluate test results against defined acceptance standards
- Generate work instructions
- Manage workflow to meet production requirements
- Prepare and authorise product test reports
- Conduct tests and inspections to ensure products conform to customer specifications and definitions
- Ensure parts are processed in accordance with business work priorities in a timely manner
Required Skills & Experience
- Previous working experience in an NDT technical capacity
- Ability to read and interpret engineering and product drawings
- Familiarity with quality and manufacturing standards and ability to achieve specified targets and objectives in line with business requirements
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
- Strong team player
Schedule
The role is Lates – Monday to Wednesday 4.30 pm to 2.30 am – Thursday 4.30 pm to 1.30 pm.
