HGV Driver (Class 2), Hemel Hempstead

Employment Type: Full Time Permanent

Salary: £40,000 per annum + bonus available

Hours: 42.5 hours per week (Monday to Friday, 6:30am-7:30am; Saturday rota – approx 2 per month, paid at 1.5x overtime rate)

Role Overview

Deliver building materials locally through multi-drop routes, ensuring deliveries are completed safely, efficiently, and professionally while providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate HGV vehicles safely and in line with regulations
• Load and unload materials securely
• Complete deliveries as scheduled
• Maintain accurate driving records and tachograph use
• Conduct daily vehicle checks
• Deliver excellent customer service
• Follow all health & safety procedures

Requirements

• HGV Category C licence (essential)
• HIAB/ALLMI and experience (preferred)
• Positive, professional, and safety-focused attitude
• Experience within a regulated or diagnostic environment (advantageous)
