Job Summary
You don’t need any previous experience to join our team, just bring yourself and a positive attitude, and our training team will do the rest. This is a customer‑facing delivery role where you will transport goods across Bexleyheath and surrounding areas.
Responsibilities
- Deliver groceries and other products on time using the company van.
- Follow pre‑planned routes and adapt to any changes.
- Load and unload items safely, including alcohol products where applicable.
- Provide excellent customer service at delivery points.
- Sign for deliveries and verify details with customers.
- Maintain accurate records of mileage, deliveries and any incidents.
Requirements
- Full UK or EU driving licence.
- Minimum of 12 months driving experience.
- Maximum of 6 penalty points.
- No driving disqualifications in the past 5 years.
- Over 18 years of age (required for handling alcohol).
- Good communication and customer‑service skills.
Contract & Working Hours
Permanent contract, 40 hours per week (including paid breaks). You will work any 5 days out of 7 with a mix of AM and PM shifts. Shifts can start as early as 05:30 and finish as late as 12:00. Shift rota is provided up to 13 weeks in advance.
Pay Structure
The position is paid monthly (every 4 weeks). Hourly rates are: Basic Monday‑Saturday: £13.78 Evening premium (from 6 pm): £14.90 Sunday day premium: £15.16 Sunday evening premium: £16.39 Overtime Monday‑Saturday day shift: £17.23 Overtime Monday‑Saturday evening shift: £18.35
