Working hours: 30 or 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday

Job Overview
We are looking for an experienced cook to join our team as an Assistant Chef Tutor. This role offers sociable working hours and the opportunity to help adults with a learning disability and autistic adults acquire valuable kitchen skills while building confidence and employability.
Responsibilities
- Work with the Chef Trainer to teach commercial catering skills to adults with a learning disability and autistic adults while providing lunch for students attending Share Clapham Junction.
- Assist with managing the lunch delivery alongside our Lunchtime Activities Leaders.
- Ensure the catering project and canteen maintain excellent levels of cleanliness and a five‑star Food Hygiene rating.
- Support students to achieve relevant qualifications and help them build portfolios of experience and achievements.
- Facilitate catering projects when the Chef Trainer is absent and lead the delivery of our catering project.
Qualifications & Experience
- Dedicated Assistant Chef Tutor with a passion for food and a desire to develop skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to relate positively and non‑discriminatorily to disabled adults from diverse backgrounds.
- Interest in helping disabled adults enjoy greater autonomy and understanding how to make this happen.
- Relevant catering experience and knowledge of commercial kitchen operations.
