The Role
As Worship Pastor, you will be at the heart of our vision to build a house of 24/7 prayer and worship. This is both a spiritual and strategic leadership role. You will lead worship across services, build and develop a team of musicians and vocalists, and help create an environment where people encounter God in a real and transformative way.
You will shape the worship culture of a rapidly growing church, working closely with the Vicar and Pastoral Lead to ensure that everything we do is grounded in our values of Humility, Heart, Honour, Hosting, and Holiness.
Who We’re Looking For
We are seeking someone who is proficient on a primary instrument (guitar or piano) and a gifted singer, with proven experience leading both planned and spontaneous worship. You will be a strong leader with a pastoral heart — someone who can build, equip, and inspire a team while nurturing their spiritual growth.
Key Details
- Contract: Full‑time, fixed term until December 2030
- Salary: £32,000 per annum
- Hours: 35 hours per week (Tuesday–Friday, some Saturdays and Sunday)
- Location: Christ Church Peckham, 676–680 Old Kent Road, London SE15 1JF
- Pension: Non‑contributory (15% employer contribution)
