Retail Sales Assistant – Jollyes Pets – Kings Lynn

As a Sales Assistant you’ll help pet parents find exactly what they need, promote responsible pet ownership, keep our store looking its best and build a career into leadership or support roles with a company that’s growing fast.

Responsibilities

• Offer genuinely friendly, helpful customer service and help customers find what they need, including suggesting suitable extras to improve their pet’s wellbeing.
• Share advice to promote responsible pet ownership.
• Keep the store tidy, stocked and looking its best.
• Participate in a supportive, upbeat team that works and laughs together.
• Upsell suitable products in a non‑pressuring manner, focusing on enhancing the customer experience.
• Assist with stock rotation, including lifting heavy items.
• Support the store during evenings and weekends, covering any shifts over 7‑day trading hours.

Qualifications

• Great at interacting with pets and people, with a fun, friendly personality.
• Thrives in a fast‑paced, hands‑on retail environment and can achieve individual goals and team targets.
• Ideal experience in a similar, customer‑facing environment and a hands‑on approach.
• Must offer the highest levels of customer service and act as an ambassador for the Jollyes brand, sharing the values of Genuine, Wise, Focused, Eager, Together.
• Flexibility on availability, including evenings, weekends and 7‑day trading hours.
• Commitment to a part‑time, permanent position – 10 hours per week.
• Age 16+ and ability to request reasonable adjustments.
