We are looking for an equally passionate Kitchen Assistant to join the team and help deliver an excellent dining experience for our residents.
Responsibilities
- Act as the link between the main kitchen and our residents.
- Assist chefs to plate meals, prepare food trolleys and ensure all preparation areas are kept clean and tidy.
- Monitor stock rotation and comply with company policies and mandatory COSHH and HACPP guidelines.
- Assist with catering for special events such as summer BBQs and Christmas parties.
Key Skills / Qualifications
- A passion for food with previous experience working in a kitchen and a Basic Food Hygiene Certificate.
- A commitment to delivering excellent service at each meal and ensuring residents feel at home.
- Understanding of maintaining high standards in and around the home to provide a pleasant dining experience.
- Comfortable communicating with kitchen and care home teams, cherishing the little moments with residents.
