bSub Agent
FM Conway is currently recruiting for a Sub Agent to join our successful Structures Team. As our Sub Agent you will ensure that the site documentation and site activities are received, prepared and set up correctly in accordance with the structures work package plan, including method statements, risk assessments and temporary work procedures. This is a permanent, full-time position based in Sevenoaks, Kent, working on various projects in South London.
Responsibilities
- Mobilise the site works and ensure that all resources are available.
- Implement all planned works, including dissemination of safe systems of work which will include site inductions, daily briefings, task assignments, risk reviews and toolbox talks.
- Coordinate the hire of all plant equipment needed for the delivery of the works and coordinate all material orders.
- Manage the site diary and keep a record of site activity and processes, including work activity details, site personnel, plant and equipment.
- Ensure all permits, permanent and temporary works are delivered in accordance with the project details, drawings and specifications.
- Record changes in project scope or unexpected site conditions, along with a record of all resources associated with the change.
- Ensure that all Operatives, plant operators and subcontractors are adequately trained and properly instructed in the work they are required to undertake, including the identification of future training requirements.
Qualifications and Experience
We are looking for candidates with previous highway infrastructure and rail experience. You should have experience as a slinger signaller and excellent knowledge of coordinating small packages of works. You will be confident in understanding construction processes and health and safety compliance. You must hold a CSCS gold, black or white card and a full UK driving licence. Travel to other company locations will be required.
