Packaging Operative – Level 4?? Newry, Carnbane?? Shift Pattern Role
About the RoleWe are currently seeking experienced and motivated Packaging Operatives (Level 4) to join our expanding operations team in Newry. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a regulated packaging pharmaceutical environment where quality, safety, and continuous improvement are at the heart of everything we do.As a Level 4 Operative, you will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day running of the packaging lines, ensuring products are packaged efficiently, safely, and in full compliance with GMP standards.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Supporting the Assistant Packaging Manager in the smooth and efficient operation of the packaging lines
- Ensuring daily production targets are achieved
- Maintaining strict adherence to GMP and Health & Safety standards
- Instructing, guiding, and delegating tasks to team members
- Training and coaching new and existing team members
- Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance compliance and efficiency
What We’re Looking ForEssential:
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience within a manufacturing/packaging GMP environment
- Flexibility to work rotating shift patterns
- Ability to make sound operational decisions independently
- Strong communication skills with the confidence to instruct and delegate
- Understanding of risk assessments and safe systems of work
- Experience in training or mentoring team members
Desirable:
- Experience working with internal or external auditors
- Proven examples of improving compliance or increasing operational efficiency
