Pay Rate: Up to £45,000 OTE (£33,000–£36,000 base + £7,000 bonus + tips)

Hours: 45-50 per week (hours are negotiable)

Role: Full Time General Manager

Commencement Date: ASAP

Location: Unit R08, Mezzanine Food Level, West Quay Shopping Centre, Southampton SO15 1QE

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily restaurant operations
  • Lead, train, and motivate a high-performing team
  • Deliver outstanding customer service standards
  • Manage P&L, costs, and profitability
  • Drive sales through local marketing and partnerships
  • Ensure compliance with health & safety and food hygiene standards
  • Manage stock, suppliers, and labour costs
  • Create a positive and energetic work environment

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a General Manager or senior manager in hospitality
  • Strong leadership and team development skills
  • Commercial mindset with a focus on sales and profitability
  • Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities
  • Passion for food, ideally with interest in Japanese cuisine
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
