Job Overview
Leeds & York partnership NHS Foundation Trust seeks Trust Locum Psychiatrists for the Acute Male Inpatient service on Ward 3 Becklin Centre. The role offers flexibility and consultant experience for 6 to 23 months. The position is advertised substantively and does not require attending an AAC, but a formal interview is required.
Key Responsibilities
Responsibilities details are outlined in the attached Job Description & Person Specification. The role involves diagnosing and managing acute psychiatric conditions, working within a multidisciplinary team, providing leadership within the MDT setting, and supporting learning disability and neurodiversity services.
Essential Qualifications and Experience
- MBChB, MRCPsych, CCT in a relevant speciality (or within 6 months of obtaining)
- AC and S12 approval (or within 3 months of obtaining)
- Evidence of working well in an MDT setting and leadership skills
- Experience in a relevant specialist area
Desirable
- Examples of proactive problem solving, supporting colleagues, and demonstrating kindness or understanding.
