Audio Visual / AV Technical Project Manager

Full-time permanent position located in Slough (preferably office-based, but hybrid arrangements can be considered).

The Company

Our client is a leading UK AV and UC integrator based in Slough, providing thousands of clients with reliable, cost-effective AV and UC solutions for collaboration, presentation, and communication spaces.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

  • Manage key projects, working with an administrative team to deliver high standards, excellent customer service, quality on-site execution, and margin protection. Approximately 35 projects/month, including large 100k+ projects.
  • Lead handovers with the sales team and conduct initial call set-ups with the customer before passing to the coordination team for installation.
  • Oversee the admin team daily—working on project delivery and supporting the service contract coordinator as needed.
  • Prepare drawings, elevations, cable schedules, RAMS, project meetings, and scheduling.
  • Manage all in‑house and external engineers, and oversee necessary insurance, vehicles, and PPE.
  • Demonstrate comprehensive understanding of company products, services, and business processes, and apply technical knowledge to deliver accurate solutions.
  • Collaborate with sales on pre‑sales activities, including site visits and drawings.

Key Tasks & Responsibilities

  • Manage project margins and budgets.
  • Ensure equipment, cables, quotes, and engineers meet company standards.
  • Coordinate and deliver all projects with administrators to meet company standards.
  • Prepare technical specifications, cable schedules, and drawings as required.
  • Maintain up-to-date R&M training.
  • Drive repeat business through quality workmanship and customer delight.
  • Maintain a strong technical grasp of company products and services.
  • Attend supplier and vendor training to stay current on technology and products.
  • Obtain supplier/manufacturer accreditations when required to strengthen company standing.
  • Identify knowledge gaps and work with management to close them.

About You

  • Experience as a Technical Project Manager within an Audio‑Visual environment.
  • Proven budget management skills.
  • Team management experience.
  • Excellent communication skills, able to liaise at all levels.
  • Technical knowledge of equipment and specifications.
  • Preferred: valid driving licence.
