Overview

Field‑based Stryker Foot & Ankle Sales Representative covering Shropshire, Cheshire and South Manchester. The role involves managing key accounts, stocking, customer training and providing product expertise in hospital theatre environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage accounts within the assigned territory.
  • Handle day‑to‑day account operations including stock management, order tracking and delivery.
  • Organise and deliver regular customer training and learning sessions on the Foot & Ankle product portfolio.
  • Record customer details and maintain a basic business plan outlining daily, weekly and monthly objectives.
  • Prioritise time and resources to grow business and support sales opportunities.
  • Conduct price negotiations, issue sales quotations, manage contracts and provide value‑added propositions to maximise profitability.
  • Understand the local healthcare environment and the patient journey through hospitals.
  • Collaborate with sales colleagues to identify new or additional Stryker products and support customer needs.
  • Commit to continuous improvement, creativity and teamwork within the work environment.
  • Travel requirement: approximately 90% of the time within the region.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Science or business‑based educational background.
  • Successful experience in medical device sales (preferred).
  • Strong interpersonal skills: charismatic, people‑focused, with an influential and motivational approach.
  • Computer proficiency – Microsoft Office.
  • Confident presentation and communication skills.
  • Interest in anatomy and physiology.
  • High achiever, self‑motivated and eager to learn and take on challenges.
  • UK driving licence.
