We have an exciting opportunity for a newly created role as Transport Admin Team Leader at Widnes to oversee the execution of the Transport Admin Team and provide support/cover for the bulk planning and provide admin support to all areas of the transport team.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure the Transport Admin team is suitably trained and supported to complete all daily tasks
- Provide admin support to the transport planning team
- Liaise with customer services/account managers/MDM to ensure the execution of all plans runs smoothly
- Liaise with operations and transport managers
- Provide holiday/sickness cover for the bulk planning
- Provide support/cover for the Transport Co‑Ordinator particularly related to failed deliveries
- Provide support/cover for the fleet administrator particularly related to purchase orders
We Are Looking For
- Team lead/supervisory experience
- A hands on/practical approach
- Ideally, experience of working within a Transport team
- Good computer and communication skills
- Someone who works well in a team
