Senior Data Analyst

We are supporting a global engineering and technology organisation in the search for a Senior Data Analyst to join a team focused on developing and deploying innovative data-driven solutions.

Working alongside engineering specialists, software engineers, data professionals, HMI designers, and DevOps teams, you will play a key role in designing, building, and supporting scalable data solutions that enable smarter operational and business decision‑making.

This is a hands‑on position suited to someone who enjoys working across data, software, and technology to deliver practical, production‑ready solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, manage, and support data solutions including data storage, processing components, and user interfaces.
• Build secure, production‑grade data solutions
• Develop multi‑tenant data collection and storage capabilities
• Build data processing solutions across batch and near real‑time environments
• Design scalable SQL and NoSQL data models
• Assess and improve the quality of incoming data
• Apply data management and security best practices
• Develop customised analytical dashboards
• Evaluate and adopt new technologies where appropriate
• Apply strong testing, troubleshooting, and quality assurance practice

Key Requirements

• Strong experience in data processing and software development using Python, R, Java, or Scala.
• Experience with data modelling.
• Strong knowledge of SQL database configuration, including PostgreSQL, MariaDB, or My SQL.
• Understanding of DevOps tools and practices, including Docker and Ansible.
• Experience using Git and supporting software release management processes.
• Proven ability to design stable, scalable solutions and troubleshoot complex issues.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• French language skills would be advantageous but are not essential
