Principal Software Engineer – UK (remote) – High‑availability Systems – £170k + package

Hybrid: 2–3 Days in office

Principal Software Engineer, with strong experience developing and designing high‑availability, distributed systems is now required by a market leading trading house.

This is a hands‑on role combining coding with a focus on designing scalable, secure, and high throughput systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead architecture and design of complex software solutions.
• Mentor engineering teams and guide technical decision‑making.
• Drive best practices across architecture, code quality, and delivery.

Required Skills & Experience

• Excellent background as a Principal Software Engineer
• Strong Experience working with APIs
• Cloud native skills in either AWS or Azure
• Experience in trading houses or gambling nice to have
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Location: UK remote, with occasional travel to London HQ
