Role Overview
As a Software Engineer, you will actively contribute to planning and developing features, defining approaches, and delivering both complex and simple solutions across a variety of technologies. You will work in a language‑agnostic team, sharing knowledge and learning new skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Write code using test‑driven development
- Deliver within an agile environment
- Use a range of programming languages, selecting the right tool for the job
- Work with databases (Postgres, MySQL, MongoDB)
- Engage with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, and Azure
- Debug across diverse systems
- Drive your own self‑development and mentor others
- Champion Clean Architecture, SOLID principles, and code quality
Skills, Knowledge & Experience
- Experience working directly with customers and users
- Collaboration within multidisciplinary teams (product, design, technology)
- Presentation and communication skills
- Familiarity with agile practices (Scrum, XP, Kanban)
- Knowledge of architectural and design patterns
Eligibility & Clearance
All successful candidates must be eligible for a Security Clearance (SC). Eligibility requires 5 years of UK residency and 5 years of employment (or full‑time education).
