Salesforce Developer
Location: Wilmslow or Hybrid or Remote – Full‑Time

Role
Salesforce is a core strategic platform for us, and we are midway through a dynamic rollout across the group. You will join a team working on projects across the Salesforce ecosystem including Service Cloud, Field Service Lightning, Sales Cloud, Pardot, CPQ, Experience Cloud, and FinancialForce.
In this role you will:
- Work closely with product owners and senior stakeholders to deliver the agreed roadmap.
- Collaborate with a multi‑scrum team of onshore and offshore resources, including project managers, architects, business analysts, admins, developers, and testers.
- Use a mature CI/CD pipeline and contribute to test automation coverage.
- Deliver end‑to‑end configuration and change management of the system.
- Ensure best practices are followed for Salesforce solution usage and data management.
- Participate in billing, finance, sales, pricing and field service projects.
Person
We are looking for a candidate who can roll their sleeves up and ‘dig in’ with the rest of the team. The successful candidate should have core experience in:
- Configuring and customising the Salesforce platform.
- Lightning Web Components, Apex, Visualforce, and Data Loader.
- SOQL, triggers, validation rules, workflow, and approvals.
- Custom objects, fields and formulas.
- Salesforce DX and GitHub source control.
- CI/CD and continuous integration / delivery.
- Data sharing and visibility rules.
Education & Experience
- Experience as a Salesforce Developer across a range of Salesforce products.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work with senior stakeholders.
- Strong Salesforce configuration knowledge and understanding of when to customise.
- Experience in an agile environment using JIRA and Confluence.
- Knowledge of environment management, release management, code management and versioning best practices.
- Salesforce Administrator certification desirable.
- Experience in Salesforce CPQ and marketing automation desirable.
