Overview
I’m currently partnering with a global financial institution on a senior engineering hire within a front-office Electronic FX team.
This is a hands-on role for an experienced engineer who enjoys building and evolving trading systems used directly by the business.
The team is responsible for core electronic trading capabilities across pricing, execution, market connectivity, market data and automated trading workflows supporting a large global FX franchise.
The environment is highly technical, fast-paced and delivery focused. Successful candidates will be expected to take ownership, contribute to system design, and work closely with traders, sales and product stakeholders.
We’re particularly interested in individuals who have experience building or supporting electronic trading platforms and can demonstrate a strong understanding of how trading systems operate in production environments.
Requirements
- Electronic Trading or eFX experience
- Low latency and distributed systems
- Multi-threading and concurrency
- Market data, execution or connectivity platforms
- Exposure to FX Spot, Forwards, Swaps, NDFs, pricing, execution algorithms, FIX connectivity or order management systems would be highly beneficial
The team is looking for engineers who are comfortable owning problems end-to-end and who still enjoy writing software, solving technical challenges and delivering meaningful change into production.
