Description
Leading a small fast paced and target oriented team, the Transactions Team Leader oversees the day-to-day activities, ensuring all transactional processes and controls are delivered and team morale is maintained. The role includes problem solving, reconciliations and control checking. You will be working as part of a large and vibrant department in a growing Plc, which has a strong focus on its people.
Key Responsibilities
- Apply the Breedon values; “show you care, make it happen, strive to improve, keep it simple”
- Monitoring of controls and checks
- Unallocated cash
- Processing and checking the Direct debit collections.
- Complex account reconciliations
- Guidance and support to the Transactional team
- Reviewing and processing Invoicing and Credit notes.
- Assisting the supervisor with training other members of the team
- Covering for your line manager during annual leave or sickness.
- Ad hoc duties as requested by line manager.
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
- A proven track record for reliability and outstanding performance in a Team leader role would be advantageous.
- A strong background in finance is essential and will know instinctively how to lead a team.
- High attention to detail due to fast paced role
