Accounts & Audit Senior – Reading

Clark Wood is partnering with a regional accountancy firm in Reading, Berkshire to recruit an experienced Audit Senior.

Our client is an established firm of accountants with a large client portfolio across multiple sectors including not‑for‑profit, OMBs, and corporate groups. They pride themselves on a flexible and interpersonal approach and are seeking a bright Audit Senior to join their well‑established accountancy team.

Responsibilities

• Plan and complete audits for a broad range of clients.
• Effectively manage and review the work of a team of Audit Juniors.
• Report directly to and communicate effectively with the Audit Manager/Audit Partner.
• Liaise directly with clients.
• Prepare accounts for Limited companies, sole traders, partnerships and charities.
• Carry out tax computations for both personal and corporate clients.

Qualifications & Skills

• ACA/ACCA Part Qualified / Finalist / Qualified.
• Considerable experience within audit combined with excellent technical and communication skills.
