Job Overview

This post provides an exciting opportunity for a Clinical Psychologist, with an interest in physical health, to join the well‑established renal multi‑disciplinary team at Glan Clwyd Hospital. The position is open to applicants for an 8A Clinical Psychologist role, newly qualified Band 7 Clinical Psychologists, and trainees in their final year. Main Duties of the Job

The role involves direct and indirect work, opportunities to develop groups within the service, engagement in consultation work, and training colleagues in the wider multi‑disciplinary team. The renal psychology service is well established and operates alongside medical, nursing and dietetics professionals.

Training and Qualifications

  • Good honours degree in Psychology. Eligibility for Chartered status with the BPS.

Essential Criteria

  • Doctoral‑level knowledge of research design and methodology, including complex multivariate data analysis as practiced within clinical psychology.
