The role

• Lead and manage the ecology team
• Oversee ecological surveys, assessments and reporting
• Provide technical expertise and quality assurance
• Develop and maintain client relationships
• Support business growth and tender submissions
• Mentor and develop ecologists across the team
• Ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget

Requirements

• Significant consultancy experience, ideally at Head of Ecology level
• Strong knowledge of UK ecological legislation and planning policy
• Proven leadership and team management experience
• Excellent project management and report writing skills
• Experience managing client relationships and project delivery
• Full UK driving licence
• Full right to work in the UK
• Must live in or near the Cambridge office location
• Degree in Ecology, Environmental Science or a related discipline
