Associate HCPC Registered Clinical or Counselling Psychologist

We are seeking qualified clinicians to join our growing team. We have a particular interest in clinicians with experience in couples therapy.

This is an excellent opportunity for a compassionate and experienced Clinical or Counselling Psychologist to join our Child & Family and/or Adult Pathway on a part-time associate basis, with evening, Saturday and Friday daytime slots available. We welcome applications from clinicians looking to build or expand their private practice within a supportive, established clinic setting.

Responsibilities

  • Conducting psychological assessments and developing collaborative formulations.
  • Delivering evidence-based psychological interventions tailored to individual client needs.
  • Providing individual therapy and, where appropriate, couples work.
  • Working sensitively with clients from diverse backgrounds and with varied psychological presentations.
  • Maintaining accurate clinical records in line with professional standards.

Qualifications

  • Experience working with children, adolescents and/or adults.
  • Confidence managing complex presentations and/or neurodevelopmental conditions.
  • Training in couples therapy modalities is particularly welcomed, alongside experience in other evidence-based approaches such as Schema Therapy, DBT or EMDR.
  • Strong clinical judgement, professionalism and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
  • Availability to commit to regular weekly clinics (evening and Saturday availability particularly welcomed).
