An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior CO₂ Refrigeration Engineer to join a growing and well-established refrigeration business covering the South East region.
This role offers the chance to work on a varied portfolio of commercial and industrial refrigeration systems, supporting key customers while delivering high standards of service, maintenance, fault finding and repairs.
The successful candidate will be a customer‑focused engineer with strong technical knowledge and proven experience working on CO₂ refrigeration systems.
Key Information
- Location: South East England (looking for Engineers located anywhere along the M40 corridor)
- Salary: OTE Earnings £60,500
- Hours: Monday to Friday, 45 hours per week
- Paid Door‑to‑Door Travel
- Call‑Out: 1 in 4 rota (£150 per call‑out)
- Overtime Paid After 40 Hours
- Permanent Position
Key Responsibilities
- Service, maintain and repair commercial refrigeration and air conditioning systems
- Carry out fault finding, diagnostics and reactive breakdown repairs
- Assist with the commissioning and handover of new installations
- Support maintenance of equipment under warranty
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships
- Complete service reports and associated documentation accurately
- Ensure all work is completed in line with health & safety and company procedures
- Support the wider engineering team as required
Requirements
- F‑Gas Certification
- NVQ Level 3 in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning (or equivalent)
- Proven hands‑on CO₂ refrigeration experience
- Previous experience within the commercial refrigeration industry
- Strong fault‑finding and diagnostic skills
