This Engineering Health and Safety Manager role supports health and safety and H&S compliance across engineering, fabrication, and manufacturing activities, including industrial machinery design, manufacture, installation, and service. The Engineering Health and Safety Manager will manage risk assessments and method statements across both factory and customer site environments.

Key responsibilities of the Engineering Health and Safety Manager include developing and maintaining risk assessments, ensuring H&S compliance with UK legislation, and supporting safe engineering operations across fabrication and manufacturing processes. The Engineering Health and Safety Manager will also carry out regular site visits to monitor health and safety performance across active projects.

The Engineering Health and Safety Manager will maintain audit-ready documentation, including training records, qualifications, inductions, and PAT testing, ensuring full compliance across engineering and manufacturing activities. Ongoing development of health and safety knowledge, including NEBOSH or equivalent, is required.
