Setting Out Engineer – Yeovil – Immediate Start

MadiganGill are currently recruiting for an experienced Setting Out Engineer to join a reputable civil engineering client in Yeovil. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled engineer looking for an immediate start on a minimum 1 month contract, with competitive day rates available.

£400 – £450 per day(dependent on experience and kit)

Working Hours

Monday – Friday07:30 – 17:00

Responsibilities

• Setting out and ensuring works are delivered in line with technical drawings and specifications
• Checking technical designs and drawings to ensure accuracy and compliance
• Providing technical support and guidance to site teams where required
• Liaising with clients, local authorities, subcontractors, and internal teams
• Maintaining high standards of health, safety, and quality on site

Requirements

• Proven experience working on groundworks, infrastructure, or civil engineering projects
• Relevant qualification in Civil Engineering or equivalent
• Valid CSCS card
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Own kit preferred (rate dependent)
