SETTING OUT ENGINEER – NEW BUILD POWER STATION PROJECT

Doncaster, South Yorkshire – £300 per day – Long-Term Contract Opportunity – a £1 Billion Major Infrastructure Project

We are recruiting for a skilled and motivated Setting Out Engineer to join a flagship £1 billion new-build power station project based in Doncaster. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a landmark development that will play a vital role in the UK’s future energy network.

The Role

Working as part of a highly experienced site engineering team, you will be responsible for:

• Accurate setting out of structures, foundations and associated infrastructure
• Conducting site surveys and producing as-built records
• Ensuring works are delivered in line with design specifications and tolerances
• Supporting site management with technical engineering expertise
• Managing and maintaining survey equipment
• Liaising with subcontractors, supervisors and project stakeholders
• Ensuring compliance with health, safety and quality standards

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Setting Out Engineer on large-scale civil engineering or infrastructure projects
• Proficient in the use of Leica, Trimble or equivalent surveying equipment
• Strong understanding of engineering drawings and specifications
• CSCS Card (essential)
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a project team
