Role Overview

Mechanical & Electrical Supervisor – Templecombe

Hours: 40 hrs/week

Mitie is seeking a Mechanical & Electrical Supervisor to oversee Hard FM services across commercial and industrial properties. The role focuses on delivering high‑standard maintenance and reactive services while leading and developing a team of engineers.

Responsibilities

• Continual management of Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) and reactive tasks, ensuring completion in line with agreed SLAs and KPIs
• Support Facilities Management in improving and enhancing stakeholder relationships
• Deliver PDA training, development and auditing for the on‑site team
• Lead the development, support and mentoring of engineers to maximise their potential
• Provide FM resilience across the Templecombe site
• Build and create a proactive, customer‑focused delivery model for all hard service contracts

Qualifications

• Experience in M&E industries
• Experience with mechanical, electrical and specialist systems (e.g., liquid nitrogen, oxygen monitoring, compressed air)
• Experience managing a team of multi‑skilled engineers
• Water management experience desirable
• Mechanical or Electrical Engineering qualification
