Location: Scotland (West)

Employment Type: Permanent, Full‑time

Hours: Monday – Friday (40 hours a week)

Salary: £42,757 basic salary + £2,543 on‑call allowance

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Mobile Commercial Refrigeration Engineer to join our growing engineering team. You will work across foodservice, hospitality, and food & drinks retail, maintaining and repairing a wide range of chilled and frozen display and storage assets for a diverse portfolio of blue‑chip clients. This hands‑on, customer‑facing role is ideal for an engineer who enjoys variety and working with high‑quality commercial equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, service and repair commercial refrigeration systems
• Diagnose faults and carry out effective breakdown repairs
• Ensure all work meets industry regulations and internal safety standards
• Communicate clearly with clients and internal teams regarding work completed and recommendations
• Maintain accurate records and documentation
• Participate in an on‑call rota as required

Required Qualifications

• Current, valid F‑Gas Certificate (required)
• 10+ years of experience in the commercial refrigeration sector, specifically within restaurants and hospitality environments
• Strong understanding of commercial refrigeration systems in the foodservice/retail sector
• Professional, reliable, and capable of high performance, even during peak summer periods
• Full UK driving licence
