Automation Engineer

Automation Engineer | Boreham Wood | Permanent | Up to £59,000

We are partnering with a Financial Services provider to fill an Automation Engineer role.

The Role

• Leading the automation testing of web applications, maintaining regression test packs, tracking test automation activities assigned to automation engineers.
• Reporting test findings and defects to the Scrum team via Jira/Confluence and conducting re‑testing of defect fixes while finding ways to enhance or improve the process.
• Assisting/mentoring automation engineers to troubleshoot issues.
• Designing and executing clear, concise, and maintainable automated test suites.

The Candidate

• Relevant experience working with Selenium and Java.
• Good working knowledge of TDD, BDD, Cucumber, Gherkin, and the ability to write BDD frameworks using Cucumber and Gherkin.
• Experience automating UI tests using Selenium WebDriver with TestNG in Java.
• Preferably has worked in Financial Services.

The Package

Basic salary: up to £59,000 per annum.
