Job Summary
Site based in Woking. Your main responsibility will be to operate and maintain mechanical plant and associated equipment within CHP energy centres and district energy networks. Service, diagnose faults and repair a wide range of mechanical plant with particular emphasis on internal combustion engines, diesel generators, and CHP units. Fully Employed – Monday to Friday – 40hrs – 7:30am‑4pm as standard.
What We Are Looking For
- Qualified and experienced mechanical maintenance engineer, holding relevant mechanical qualifications to City & Guilds or NVQ standard, relevant apprenticeship / qualification in mechanical engineering.
- Desirable but not essential: CHP (combined heat & power) or generator experience.
- Ideally experience in maintenance & repair of commercial pumps, pipework, motors, valves, belts, conveyors etc.
- Ex Royal Navy / Marine Engineering type backgrounds also considered.
