Solar PV Electrician

Responsibilities

  • Carry out preventative and reactive maintenance across residential, commercial and industrial solar PV systems.
  • Fault‑finding and troubleshooting across inverters, modules, and electrical components.
  • Manage documentation, site reports and risk assessments to ensure compliance.
  • Work across sites mainly in the South East, with occasional travel to Scotland and Devon (hotel covered).
  • Lead and deliver small projects and system upgrades with minimal supervision.

Qualifications

  • Qualified electrician with 18th Edition and 2391 (or equivalent).
  • 2+ years’ experience maintaining or installing solar PV systems.
  • Excellent fault‑finding, testing and inspection skills.
  • Strong communicator with a professional, can‑do attitude.
  • Comfortable working independently and managing your own schedule.

Salary and Benefits

Salary bracket: £45,000 – £50,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
