Working closely with operational, process safety, and asset management teams, you’ll embed a strong process safety culture, support continuous improvement, and ensure compliance with regulatory and company standards.You will play a key part in reducing risk, improving asset resilience, and learning from incidents to strengthen future performance. This is an opportunity to influence decision-making, shape best practice, and contribute to the safe and reliable delivery of essential services.**Key Responsibilities*** Lead and support process safety risk management across water supply operations* Provide expertise in hazard identification, risk assessment, control measures and working knowledge of barrier-based risk analysis and its application.* Support incident investigations, ensuring lessons are learned and embedded* Drive continuous improvement in process safety systems and performance* Deliver assurance and compliance with regulatory and internal standards* Collaborate across teams to promote a positive and proactive safety culture**About You*** Background in process safety, engineering, or risk management or a history of working with toxic gases and chemicals, such as chlorine and ozone* Experience in high-hazard industries* Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills* Passion for improving process safety, resilience, and operational excellence**As a valued employee, you’ll be entitled to:*** Personal private health care* Life assurance (up to 8 x salary)* Personal accident cover (up to 5 x salary)* Double-matched pension (maximum 7% employee/14% employer contribution)* 26 days annual leave – rising with length of service and the ability to buy more* Excellent family friendly policies, such as 26 weeks full pay for maternity / adoption leave, as well as 4 weeks paid paternity / partner leave.
