Security Officer – casual contract

We have the pleasure of offering a challenging position for an experienced SIA licensed Security Officer to assist an existing team looking after a number of prestigious clients in the Newmarket area on a casual basis.

The role requires a proactive and level‑headed individual able to present themselves in a polite and professional manner with a good grasp of the English language. This role would suit somebody who is looking for additional work around their main job.

Duties

• Maintaining the high standard of access control for authorized personnel and control of public access
• Conducting internal foot patrols in conjunction with external mobile patrols of the local area
• Incident control management as well as emergency situation response when required
• Ensuring all assignment instructions are followed and adhered to
• Routine paperwork and record keeping as required

Qualifications

The ideal candidate must have a current valid SIA Licence. A CCTV licence would be advantageous but is not required.

Schedule

• 12‑hour shift
• Day shift
• Night shift
• Weekend availability

Pay

£14.17 per hour
