Careers Advisor, Coordinator and Learning Resource Manager

Hours – 37 Hrs/week over 39 weeks/year

Basis – Full Time, Permanent

Salary – Band 5 SCP (19 – 24) £32,061 – £35,412

Actual Salary – £27,652 – £30,542

Responsibilities

  • Lead and deliver a comprehensive, impartial careers programme for Years 7-11, supporting informed progression and reducing NEET risk.
  • Build and maintain strong partnerships with employers, colleges, training providers, and HE institutions.
  • Provide personalised careers guidance through 1:1 interviews, assemblies, events, and parental engagement.
  • Manage, develop, and evaluate the school library as a high‑quality learning resource that promotes literacy and inclusion.
  • Oversee systems, data, budgets, and reporting to ensure continuous improvement and compliance with statutory and OFSTED guidance.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Satisfactory references will be requested prior to interview.
  • Enhanced DBS check required.

  • Evidence of qualifications verified.
