E-Learning Creator

Role Overview

The EPR E‑Learning Creator will design, develop, and maintain high‑quality digital learning content to support the implementation and adoption of the Electronic Patient Record (EPR) system.

Responsibilities

• Create engaging, interactive e‑learning modules tailored to different staff roles, ensuring accessibility, usability, and compliance with Trust standards.
• Work closely with the Training Manager, clinical teams, and technical specialists to translate workflows into effective digital learning experiences.
• Design and develop high‑quality digital learning modules using approved authoring tools, incorporating multimedia elements and applying adult learning principles.
• Translate EPR workflows into clear, role‑specific training content that reflects best practice.
• Ensure all materials meet accessibility, clinical safety, and information governance standards, while maintaining version control and updating content as needed.
• Manage learning content within the Trust’s LMS, monitor completion, provide user support, and produce reports for training and programme leads.
• Continuously improve digital learning by gathering feedback, analysing usage data, and adopting innovative approaches to enhance engagement and effectiveness.

Requirements

• Minimum on‑site presence of three days per week at Sherwood Forest Hospitals; during key delivery periods, on‑site requirements may increase.
