We are seeking a Reading Intervention & Wellbeing Co‑ordinator who will play a vital role in shaping a positive, inclusive, and supportive environment for both students and staff. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is committed, creative, and driven to help learners flourish academically, emotionally, and socially.

What You’ll Do

  • Deliver engaging reading interventions that build fluency, comprehension, and vocabulary.
  • Support students with SEND, SEMH, and additional needs to thrive.
  • Promote a positive reading culture and adapt resources to engage diverse learners.
  • Lead wellbeing initiatives for students and staff, acting as a wellbeing ambassador across sites.
  • Collaborate with staff and external partners to create an inclusive, supportive environment.
  • Monitor progress and wellbeing data to inform practice and improve provision.
  • Signpost staff to appropriate support services and contribute to whole‑school wellbeing pathways.

What We’re Looking For

  • GCSEs or equivalent required
  • Passion for literacy and wellbeing.
  • Experience supporting students with diverse needs.
  • Communication skills with warmth, clarity, and confidence.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with students, staff, and external partners.
  • Creativity and enthusiasm for intervention and wellbeing work.
  • Driving licence required.
