Solicitor – General Liability (Personal Injury) – Bristol – NQ-2 PQE

Type of Role: Permanent, Full-time
Salary: £50,000 – £65,000 (depending on experience)
A leading national law firm is seeking a General Liability Solicitor (NQ-2 PQE) to join its established Insurance team in Bristol. This is an excellent opportunity to work with market‑leading insurer clients on a varied and technically engaging caseload.
The Role
You will manage and assist on a range of defendant personal injury and liability matters, including:
- Employers’, Public and Products Liability claims
- Fast track, intermediate and multi-track personal injury cases
- Advising insurer clients on liability and coverage issues
- Supporting investigations into health & safety matters, inquests and regulatory issues
- Assisting with product liability claims
- Developing and maintaining strong client relationships
- Contributing to a collaborative and high‑performing team
As your experience develops, you will have increasing autonomy over your own files and opportunities to get involved in business development.
Candidate Requirements
This role is suited to a qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive with:
- NQ-2 years’ PQE with experience in personal injury or insurance litigation
- A solid understanding of litigation procedure and case management
- Exposure to liability claims (EL/PL/Products) desirable
- Strong drafting, organisational and analytical skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to manage client relationships effectively
- A proactive, commercially aware approach
