This is a hands‑on senior role focused on mechanical design, FEA, product development, drawing control & technical leadership across a range of specialist fabricated & hydraulic products used in demanding environments.
We’re seeking a hands‑on Senior Engineering Manager to lead our engineering and design team, developing specialist fabricated & hydraulic products used in demanding environments.
Working closely with manufacturing, quality, & suppliers, you’ll drive product development, oversee mechanical design & FEA activities, & lead continuous improvement initiatives while mentoring & developing your team.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead & develop the engineering/design team
- Drive mechanical design, product development, & FEA analysis
- Oversee SolidWorks models, drawings, BOMs, & engineering change control
- Support production, quality, & supplier technical requirements
- Improve existing products & develop innovative new solutions
What You’ll Bring
- Strong mechanical design engineering background
- Experience leading engineers or design teams
- Advanced SolidWorks & FEA skills
- Knowledge of fabricated, welded, & structural assemblies
- Understanding of design for manufacture & engineering documentation
- Desirable: Experience within agricultural, automotive, off-highway machinery, hydraulics, or vehicle attachment systems.
