Are you a commercial lawyer looking for a role that offers genuine breadth, international exposure and the opportunity to work directly alongside an experienced General Counsel? We’re partnering with a growing FMCG business looking for a Commercial Legal Counsel to join its lean and collaborative legal team.
This is a rare opportunity to join a business where you’ll be exposed to a wide range of legal and commercial matters from day one. Working closely with the General Counsel, you’ll support stakeholders across multiple international markets and gain experience well beyond what is typically available at this level.
The Opportunity
- Advising on a broad range of commercial and corporate matters, including drafting, reviewing and negotiating a wide variety of commercial agreements such as procurement, supply chain, manufacturing, distribution, sales and marketing contracts.
- Supporting commercial negotiations with internal and external stakeholders.
- Assisting with corporate projects, governance matters and group structural changes across multiple jurisdictions.
- Supporting M&A activity, due diligence exercises and strategic business projects.
- Advising on intellectual property matters, including brand protection and trademark portfolio management.
- Contributing to a variety of wider legal and business initiatives as the company continues its international growth journey.
About You
- A junior commercial lawyer with some PQE, typically trained in private practice and looking to make your first in‑house move.
- Experience drafting, reviewing and negotiating contracts.
- A desire to learn, take ownership and get involved in varied work.
