Solicitor – Property Litigation – Bristol

Location: Bristol (City Centre – Hybrid Working Available)

Type of Role: Permanent, Full-time or Part-time

Salary: £45,000 – £70,000 (depending on experience)

A well‑established and highly regarded regional law firm is seeking a Property Litigation Solicitor to join its growing Dispute Resolution team in Bristol.

The Role

You will manage and build your own caseload of property litigation matters, including:

  • Boundary disputes
  • Ownership and TOLATA claims
  • Residential and commercial landlord & tenant disputes
  • Possession claims
  • Lease renewals and enforcement of lease terms
  • Service charge disputes
  • Easements (rights of way, right to light, rights of use)
  • Dilapidations disputes
  • Land ownership and leasehold extension matters

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing matters from instruction through to resolution
  • Drafting pleadings, statements, applications and court documents
  • Preparing and reviewing bundles and costs schedules
  • Conducting negotiations and agreeing settlements
  • Attending court hearings and undertaking advocacy where appropriate
  • Advising clients on progress and costs throughout matters
  • Maintaining accurate file management and compliance

You will also:

  • Support and supervise junior team members where required
  • Assist other departments with property‑related disputes
  • Contribute to business development and networking activities
  • Support directory submissions and marketing initiatives

Candidate Requirements

  • 2+ years’ PQE in Property Litigation (or strong litigation background with property exposure)
  • Experience handling landlord & tenant and property disputes
  • Strong drafting and technical litigation skills
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills
  • Confidence managing matters independently
  • A proactive and commercially aware approach
  • Interest in business development and networking
