Case Worker – Supported Accommodation

Rhondda Cynon Taf (RCT) – Tonypandy

34 Hours Per Week | Temporary to Permanent

Moving to 37 hours per week once made permanent + increase in salary

£13.45 per hour + £50 Sleep-In Payments

Salary approx. £25,000 per annum

We are recruiting for an experienced and resilient Case Worker to join a supported accommodation service in RCT supporting individuals with complex needs.

This role involves supporting people experiencing:

• Mental health challenges
• Substance misuse and alcohol dependency
• Self-harm behaviours
• Difficulties managing a tenancy

You’ll provide practical and emotional support within a shared housing environment, helping individuals work towards greater independence and stability.

The Role Includes:

• Support planning and risk assessments
• Lone working responsibilities
• Working alongside external agencies
• Maintaining accurate support records
• Supporting residents with housing, wellbeing, and daily living skills

Working Pattern

• 3-week rolling rota including…
• Long day shifts (8am-11pm)
• Sleep-ins
• Weekends and bank holidays

Average contracted hours: 34 per week

We’re Looking For Someone Who…

• Has experience in supported housing, homelessness, mental health, or social care
• Understands complex needs and trauma-informed support
• Can work independently and confidently lone work
• Holds a full UK driving licence and has access to a vehicle
