Theatre HCA – West Midlands

Job Overview

We are looking for a Theatre HCA with experience in surgical or perioperative settings to support a well‑established NHS Trust in the West Midlands area within a busy Urology service. This role offers flexible additional sessions and the chance to work alongside experienced theatre teams in a patient‑focused environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and smooth running of theatre and clinical areas.
• Support the theatre team during Urology procedures, ensuring high standards of patient care and safety.
• Prepare equipment, instruments, and consumables for procedures.
• Take and record patient observations accurately where required.

Qualifications

• Currently practising, or has practised, as a Theatre HCA within a surgical setting for a minimum of 6 months within the last 12 months.
• Proven experience working in the NHS.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary theatre team.
