CNC Machinist

CNC Machinist (BBBH275325) Chessington, England

Salary: £35,000 (£18 per hour) per annum. 38‑hour week, 12 pm finish on Friday.

This experienced CNC Machinist will operate and set up horizontal lathes, mills, and other CNC machinery in our workshop. You will be responsible for maintaining tight tolerances, reading engineering drawings, and ensuring quality standards comply with ISO 9001 and AS9100. Training in CNC programming will be provided as needed.

Responsibilities

• Machine alignments
• CNC turning, grinding, and milling
• Programming, setting, and operating CNC machines
• Read and understand engineering drawings and processes
• Use standard measuring equipment to meet tight tolerances
• Operate CNC and PLC controls
• Comply with relevant health and safety requirements
• Adhere to ISO 9001 and AS9100 standards throughout the process

Requirements

• Proven experience working in a machine shop environment
• Experience with CNC machinery
• Commutable to Chessington
