One Sixth Form College is seeking a dedicated Motor Vehicle Engineering Technician to support our dynamic team. Ideally you will bring hands‑on experience within the motor or engineering sector, demonstrating a solid understanding of vehicle systems and workshop practices. Your technical knowledge will play a key role in supporting students and staff in a busy, well‑equipped environment. The role also requires adaptability to meet curriculum needs, including assisting during practical sessions, preparing materials, and maintaining equipment to ensure the highest standards of learning and safety.
You will be well‑organised, reliable, and demonstrate a full appreciation of health and safety protocols. You will be required to undertake essential training including first aid, safeguarding, and fire safety. A proactive attitude and willingness to support a flexible and evolving curriculum are essential.
Responsibilities
- Support students and staff in a busy, well‑equipped environment.
