Location: Salford Priors, Evesham. Pay: £14.50 – £15.50 per hour. Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00am – 3:00pm. This is a temporary to perm opportunity. Overtime paid at 1.5× rate. Full UK driving licence required.

We are currently recruiting for an experienced MIG Welder to join a leading manufacturing business based in Salford Priors, near Evesham. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled welder looking to secure a long‑term position with excellent earning potential. The role will initially be working a day shift, Monday to Friday, with future plans to move onto a rotating shift pattern of 6:00am – 2:00pm and 2:00pm – 10:00pm. Successful candidates will be required to complete a weld test prior to starting employment.

Key Responsibilities

• MIG welding a variety of steel components and assemblies
• Welding materials ranging from 2 mm to 30 mm thickness
• Working from engineering drawings and fabrication specifications
• Producing high‑quality welds to required standards
• Carrying out visual inspections of completed work
• Preparing materials prior to welding, including grinding, cleaning, and fitting
• Supporting fabrication and assembly activities where required
• Ensuring production targets and quality standards are achieved
• Maintaining a safe, clean, and organised work area
• Following all Health & Safety procedures and company policies

Requirements

• Proven MIG welding experience within a manufacturing, engineering, fabrication, or heavy industrial environment
• Experience welding material thicknesses between 2 mm and 30 mm
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Reliable, punctual, and safety conscious
• Willingness to complete a weld test before starting
• Full UK driving licence and access to your own transport due to the location
